117-120 Bute Street,
CF10 5AE

Completed: 2006

Project Overview

This Grade ll listed building was fully renovated to a modern day office space whilst retaining and complimenting the existing ornate bath stone facade.

Internally, the challenge was to make use of the existing structure whilst creating an efficient, vibrant and useable workspace.

A listed building fully renovated to modern day office and retail space.

The Location

In the 1820s The 2nd Marquess of Bute initiated a development plan which led to the construction of Bute Street as a main road connecting the docks to the city centre.

Since the completion of Cardiff Bay Barrage in 1999, the area has been further transformed into a waterfront leisure and shopping district to support the influx of residential developments.
